U.G.L.Y. Utah Girls Love You has developed a strong understanding of being grateful throughout the journey of helping make a difference in other’s lives. Offering a helping hand to others has been, frankly it has been an emotional roller-coaster with some cases okay most cases, but we are still so grateful everyday to have the learning tools and will-power to keep the engine riving and continue on our journey, to make chance possible for those individuals, whom want to help themselves. So, remember it’s easy to say hi, node to acknowledge follow patron, and simply just being kind, but for real change it takes hard work, harsh realities and sheer passion to see true change and that it’s possible to help others, truly help themselves find their happiness.

So, please be grateful for the past and present and work hard for the rewards in the future, “happiness” which is the top on of my bucket list is to say, “I lived a happy life!”  It could always be worse! Right!  So let’s keep on keeping on with the Power of Positive, Love, and Laughter. Please make sure to say thank you to the stars above! Please don’t give up and have a fabulous day!!!! Take a stand against domestic violence...

U.G.L.Y. enjoyed spending time with the men and women whom joined together on a the ride to support, "Take a stand against domestic violence" on August 22, 2015. Starting in at Timpanogos Harley Davison 555 South Geneva, Lindon Ut., then headed off on our beautiful Utah's scenic highway. Making a pit stop in Salt Lake City to the Road Home's Family center to bring smiles to several children's faces, joy filled out in the courtyard as the bikers arrived. It was priceless to see the children's eyes light up, when they were given the opportunity to stand next to these awesome, huge, and shiny motorcycles. It was a great joy for U.G.L.Y. to have the opportunity to support in this fabulous act of kindness from these awesome bikers, whom are truly making a difference for these children lives. After, the marvelous pit stop, the bikers finished off their ride for lunch hosted by Smoked Mountain Pizza 1850 East 9400 South Sandy, Ut.

U.G.L.Y. were looking for current statistic on Domestic violence and came across a current article, the information was truly scary. Utah is above the national average for domestic violence, really Utah? Higher than the national average for homicide related to domestic violence. So, we as a community should take domestic violence a bit more serious after you read this article and please share this information. Thoughtful Thursday!!!

U.G.L.Y. wants to wish everyone a thriving and productive Thursday!!!

These pictures are of the Single Mommy's Project giving back to our helping hands project, taking donated items; blankets, scarfs, shoes, clothing, bananas and bottled waters to a local shelter in Salt Lake and local thrift store. It was a touching experience for all of the ladies on various levels. Many of the ladies had never seen or been close to a shelter, let alone be up close and personal with a homeless person. It was an incredible experience to witness the change in the ladies' eyes, looking at these individual's circumstances homeless on the streets, which has to be lowest point of a person's life, these ladies were able to see past some of their own obstacles and gain a sense of relief and understanding, that they have a choice in their future to fight through and make a difference starting with themselves.  So, through merging the Helping hands and Single Mommy's Projects, we meet many goals, showing how giving other's, makes a difference in everyone's lives for the better. The Single Mommy's project is not only giving donations to single moms but it has now formed into a group of women, single mom and former single moms, encouraging and supporting one another to live positive, be kind, be accepting to diversity and make difference as a whole not just in one general area.

We have been on a mission here at Utah Girls Love You to offer a helping hand to whom wants take our gestures and make a difference in people’s lives with simple things such as; accepting and loving people no matter their status or circumstances. OUR GOAL IS TO JUST BE ACCEPTING TO ALL FELLOW UTAHNS, THIS IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT TO US AND TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN DIVERSITY, to be NONJUDGMENTAL, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST ALWAYS OFFER A HELPING HAND TO THOSE WHOM ARE NEED!!
